What information do we acquire from you?

Interaction Data. We collect data regarding your interactions with the Services, such as logging in and out and your preferences. This Interaction data is utilized to enhance performance and stability for our users and to gauge the overall performance of the Services.

Furthermore, to assess the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, we may acquire your IP address along with campaign and referral data, including details about the ad campaigns you interacted with, your operating system, device type, device identifiers, and operating system version. While Mozilla shares this information with Adjust, we do not share or store your IP address.

Technical Data. We gather technical data, including fundamental details about the installed version of your KeptlerMasking Browser Extension and the device it's installed on, encompassing the operating system and hardware configuration. For Subscription Services, your IP address is temporarily retained as part of our server logs for 90 days. This technical data is employed to enhance performance and stability for our users, as well as to gauge the overall performance of the Services.

Location Data. We collect your IP address during signup and usage to approximate your location. This information is crucial for service availability, pricing, and offers based on your country. Additionally, your IP address is utilized for fraud and abuse prevention across our products.

Email Messages. To transmit and redirect your email messages from masked email addresses to your primary email, KeptlerMasking processes your messages without reading or storing their content. Undeliverable emails are temporarily retained on our servers and deleted after delivery, with a maximum retention period of three days.

Masks and Usage. We retain a copy of your account information to facilitate the Service, linking your primary email with masked email addresses. Masks, once created, are stored for forwarding emails. Information about the creation site, subsequent usage sites, and associated labels are stored to ensure easy retrieval of your masks.

Who do we share your information do with?

We collaborate with third-party entities to deliver the Service to you, as well as for marketing initiatives and user acquisition. The following companies have been contracted to support and operate our Services:

  • Stripe. Stripe is a technology company that provides a platform for online payment processing. It offers a suite of services that enables businesses and individuals to accept payments over the Internet. Stripe's services include payment gateway, subscription management, fraud prevention, and other financial infrastructure tools. Businesses can integrate Stripe's API (Application Programming Interface) into their websites or applications to securely process online transactions.
    We use Stripe Services to make subscriptions to our Services possible. For the payment transactions your email, name, address, and credit card information are required.   • Google. We utilize Google services, specifically Google Analytics and Google Ads. Google Analytics serves as a web analytics tool, tracking visitor interactions on our website. It aids us in comprehending your usage of our website and Services, facilitating continuous improvement.
    In broad terms, Google Analytics gathers information about your device, cookies, IP address, browser, and interactions with our website and Services. This data is instrumental in refining our website and Services for an enhanced user experience.
    We also employ Google Ads as part of our services. Google Ads assists in promoting our offerings and reaching a broader audience.
